Reefer Madness: The Musical is a high-energy, highly stylized satirical political commentary inspired by the 1936 propaganda film of the same name. Set in 1930s America, the story is framed as a cautionary tale about the dangers of marijuana. What follows is a wildly exaggerated descent into chaos, as clean-cut youths fall victim to the supposed dangers of marijuana - lunacy, moral degradation, and hilariously outrageous consequences.
